IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL A SESSION
Cancellations 48 hours prior to your session starting

Cancel 48 hours prior to your session commencing, including weekends, by logging into your TeamKids account and cancelling your session and you will not be charged for your session.

Call 1300 035 000 ext 1 or email info@teamkids.com.au to advise our Customer Service team. Please note, you will be charged in full for this day (minus your Child Care Subsidy) unless you are able to provide us with a medical certificate within 5 days. Please email medical certificates to info@teamkids.com.au for your cancelled session.

PACK A HEALTHY LUNCH

A healthy, delicious and nutritious morning and afternoon tea will be provided in all programs, but each child is required to bring their own packed lunch and refillable water bottle.

Please note that some children that attend our services have been diagnosed at risk of anaphylaxis or are allergic to certain foods. We ask that our families to consider this when planning their children’s lunch and avoid packing foods that contain peanuts, tree nuts (e.g. almonds, walnuts, cashews), fish, or shellfish (e.g. oysters, prawns).

MEDICATION? HAVE A PLAN

If your child has Asthma, Anaphylaxis, an Allergy or any other medical condition, upload your child’s action and medical plans to your TeamKids Account and please bring along a completed Risk Minimisation Form.

If medication is required, please ensure you bring the medication in its original container, clearly labelled with a use-by date and your child’s name. On your child’s first day please hand these to the service coordinator.

Please note we are unable to accept children at any of our services without their medication, medical action plans and risk minimisation forms.

EXCURSION PERMISSION & DEPARTURE TIMES

Parents/Guardians MUST provide written consent for their child(ren)’s participation in an excursion. At TeamKids, excursions typically occur twice a week, so at drop-off, please look out for the permission form on the sign-in desk to supply your written consent. Please do not leave the venue without signing this form.

On excursion days, we require all children to be signed in by 9.00am (unless otherwise stated on our website). If you have not arrived by the departure time, then you may be required to drop your child(ren) off at the excursion location as the bus cannot be delayed.

WHAT TO WEAR

At TeamKids we love to get outside, so please remember to pack a hat – clearly labelled and wear suitable footwear for running around. Where possible avoid wearing singlets, thongs and open-toed shoes. Please note that some activities may have specific requirements regarding attire.
We recommend that you monitor the UV ratings prior to attending TeamKids. Should the UV levels reach 3 and above on the UV index (available from www.bom.gov.au), sun protection is required. Ideally, please apply sunscreen before coming to the program, and we’ll reapply later in the day. If your child is sensitive to or reacts to different sunscreens, then please bring your own sunscreen and bring this to the attention of our educators.
The Cancer Council recommends using a high protection sunscreen (Minimum SPF 30) with a high UVA rating (4-star minimum).

At TeamKids we love to get outside, so please remember to wear suitable footwear for running around.

WHAT TO DO IF YOUR CHILD IS UNWELL OR UNABLE TO ATTEND

If your child is unwell or unable to attend TeamKids it’s important that you let TeamKids know as soon as possible.

Childcare Subsidy Implications – Due to Centrelink enforcing the 14 Week enrolment rule.

If you cancel the first or last day of your enrolment with TeamKids, your Child Care Subsidy may be removed by Centrelink. In this situation, you will be charged the full fee for the session with no childcare subsidy applying to this day. Please note this is enforced by Centrelink and this charge may occur 14 weeks after the holidays have completed. Remember this only applies to a cancelled session, without a medical certificate, on your first and last day of attendance.

DOUBLE CHECK YOU CCS ENROLMENT

With the Child Care Subsidy, myGov cancels your enrolment details in their system if your child has not attended childcare in 14 consecutive weeks. For families who only use TeamKids during the school holidays, this means that after you place your new bookings, you may need to login to your myGov account and reconfirm your enrolment. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Administration and Late Booking Fees do apply.

We uphold the highest standards when it comes to cleaning our venues and have stringent processes in place. All venues are cleaned prior to each session of care.

TeamKids staff have been trained in good personal hygiene and upholding good hygiene of the children in their care.

Children and staff are reminded to wash hands before and after they eat, after they go to the toilet and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. Sanitizer is available as well, however our first preference is to always use soap.

Customer Service – Extended Hours of Operation

During the school holidays, our Customer Service Team are available from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm (AEDT).

Double Check TeamKids Room Location

During the school holidays, many schools choose this time to attend to building maintenance and repairs. As a result, sometimes we are asked to temporarily change rooms. We recommend that you double-check our website prior to attending to ensure there hasn’t been a room change or restrictions to parent onsite access due School Policy during COVID-19. Last-minute changes will be announced via email to attending families.
