Flexi-Day Care FAQs

To support families during this time, we are offering two care options: Full-Day & Flexi-Day.

Our Full-Day care will be as per the services daily fee minus any child care subsidies.
Our NEW Flexi-Day option will operate between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM each day. Flexi-Day fee $40 minus any child care subsidies. Flexi-Day care option is only valid during March-April 2020.

The two care options will be available when you book online or by contacting our Customer Service Team. Please see our T&Cs for further details.

What if I have already placed a booking and now I want to change it to the Flexi-Day of 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM?

This is not a problem, please log into your TeamKids account and you will now be able to select our Flexi-Day option when completing your booking if required. Please note, the hours are only from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at a rate of $40 less subsidy entitlements.

How much will it cost?

$40 flat rate less any subsidy entitlements. Please note this is only for the hours of 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

What do I bring?

Please bring lunch, a water bottle and a hat. TeamKids will provide a light morning tea.

What if I drop off at 9:45 AM and/or pick up at 2:15 PM?

You will be charged the full fee as our hours of operation when booking the Flexi-Day are only 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Any time outside is this will be charged the full daily rate.

When attending the Flexi-Day does my child participate in the incursion advertised?

If our incursion is scheduled between the hours of 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, yes your child will be participating in our scheduled incursion.

Unfortunately, if the incursion is outside of this time, then your child would not be able to participate in the activity planned. If you would like to know the time of the incursion, please call our friendly Customer Service Team on 1300 035 000 ext 1.

Can I change the times of the Flexi-Day, e.g. 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM?

No, this is not possible. The hours are set and the care is only offered from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. This is to ensure we can adequately staff during this time.

What if I book in for a Flexi-Day and then need a full day care?

This is not a problem, you can change this on your TeamKids account up until 11:59 PM the night before.

Will this continue after these Holidays?

The Flexi-Day has been brought in to support families that are working from home these holidays due to COVID-19, it is a trial for these holidays.
