All TeamKids programs and activities are conducted by appropriately qualified, specialist staff who all hold current working with children and first aid certificates. Ongoing policy training and professional development is supplied to staff, and regular performance reviews and informal appraisals are conducted. Your child’s safety, enjoyment and wellbeing are our number one priority. State legislation and the TeamKids Child Protection Policy states that all staff working with children complete criminal history check and obtain a Working with Children Certificate.
TeamKids prides itself on having very low children to staff ratios. We ensure a maximum ratio of 10 children per staff member. The ratio is even lower for any swimming activities and excursions depending on the age of each group.
